We're so glad to hear you've been enjoying BRD! It's been working great so there's no risk to using it. The only reason we haven't enabled it by default is because there are so many services that don't support Segwit sends, so we don't want to "break" those services. We also hope to add more coins in the future! You can also buy directly from the in-app exchange inside of BRD, though the fees will be generally higher. Your trade will be limited to a few hundred dollars until you supply BRD and its liquidity partner with more personal info about yourself.
